Perhaps our greatest feat as human beings is the ability to give a shit.

I gave you all, but how can you expect me to believe your truth is better than mine?

Maybe it is our imperfections which make us so perfect for one another.

I didn’t and look at me, I’m a lonely ghost of a man. It doesn’t mean that you’re never going to get hurt but the pain you feel will never compare to the regret that comes from walking away from love.

Bitter old
As periods in people’s lives come and go, we can take the time to evaluate the situation we find ourselves in. The outcome, either good or bad, is yours to be accepted or denied.
It is up to ourselves to take action and do something about it, or leave it be and let it linger further, just to reappear in our next evaluation.
And so we go on till the end.. the end, where we must take responsability for the things we carried with us our whole lives, that whole time. And why is it that, at the end, we find ourselves with so many things we should’ve taken care of in an earlier standstill? Because we were cowardish? Because we were afraid? No
Because we are, even at the bitter end, mere human.
The human mind is a little piece of wood we get at the beginning. It ours to do with whatever we want. We can leave it unscathed, remaining safe from any mistake, any pain, any scars. We can carve the most beautiful signature in our wood, and with it the signature of the ones around us we love. But love, like trust, will sometimes scar our piece of wood. It will leave burn marks, unintended carvings, or broken pieces of wood.
It is when we arrive at each standstill we get the chance to look at our piece of wood. To decide what you want fixed, what you want to carve in it later on.
And so we form our piece of wood to become a beautiful piece of antique. The one prettier than the other, but all by our own choice. It’s up to us to decide what we want to carve.
Now, if you’ll excuse me
I have urgent carving to do.

But then I realize. I’m completely alone.

People change. Feelings change. It doesn’t mean that the love once shared wasn’t true and real. It simply just means that sometimes when people grow, they grow apart.
